Tai Shing Monkey
Description:
Tai Shing was created by Kou-Sze near the turn of the century
at the end of the Qing dynasty.
Kou-Sze
was a prisoner at the time with a background in northern style
kung fu. During his time in prison he was able to observe
the daily antics and playing of monkeys from his window. From
these observations, he created this particular style of Monkey
kung fu. It includes the monkey form and the stone monkey
form.
Eventually,
kou-Sze passed his art down to Ken Tak Hoi, who later passed
it on to Cho Chi Fung and Cho Chat Ling.
